I can see it with my eyes walking through the garden, but I can’t quite capture the effect with a photo – then again, I am not a photographer, add in the delightful smells that waft through the summer air, the sound of birds and you will begin to feel the delightful mix of fragrance that is brought alive by the sounds of nature and enhanced with colours that only Mother Nature herself can create.
I love the sound of birds, burbling waterfalls and plants gently rustling in the wind, when these sounds combine, it’s really amazing.

Entrance, Reception and Facades

Our entry point and driveway immediately puts you at ease and allows nature to capture your senses, the slow drive up to lodge gives you time to reflect on what unknown's await.

You arrive at our huge glass framed doors to be greeted by our friendly service warriors and enter a vestibule that focuses your attention on a stairway that leads left and right and conjures up a longing to venture further, alas no, paperwork first at our oak reception desk once done let the fantasy begin.

Accommodation
Our tranquil, smartly furnished 14 guest rooms provide comfortable accommodation in, double and twin rooms. There is a possibility to fit in an extra bed into 3 of our rooms. Each of our tastefully decorated rooms feature individually controlled air conditioning and heating, safety deposit box, free Wi-Fi connection and LCD TV with satellite reception and a phone. The bathrooms contain either a bathtub or shower and a hair drier in addition to all the usual amenities.
The Lodge can accommodate a maximum of 31 Sleeping guests

Restaurant

Elements Restaurant has a culture statement that epitomises what we serve “Spanish Flamboyance, African Intrigue and Indian Fire”, with an emphasis on differentiation. Our space is casual. We aim to share our excitement about our food and wine. Guests and their friends should feel comfortable in our friendly environment.
The restaurant can accommodate up to 50 seated guests, and up to 90 guests for a cocktail event.

 Restaurant Balcony - Private Dining
​​Nothing could be more romantic than a candlelit dinner for two on our restaurant balcony, against the silhouette of Pretoria East. Intuitively served by your personal attendant. Choose between a specially curated four course dinner and our recommended Indian ‘thali’. An Elephantine experience is what memories are made of.
The space can accommodate up to 12 seated guests.

Pool Deck

​There is no better way to describe this space than breath-taking. It’s the Lodge’s most spectacular open-air setting, and the only dedicated venue that brings you views of both the rising and the setting sun and the vivid beauty of the craggy Bronberg Mountain Range, as well as the verdant greens of our natural landscape. The Pool Deck can accommodate up to 30 seated guests, and up to 50 guests for a cocktail event.

Beneath African Sky Boma
​Beneath African Skies presents guests with the opportunity to experience the truly vibrant nature of traditional African ethnicity. The outdoor boma, surrounded by aged indigenous trees and natural bushveld, is the perfect setting for a magnificent celebration surrounded by our original carved figurines. Attention to detail was not spared to create an authentic African experience. The Boma can accommodate up to 30 seated guests, and up to 50 guests for a cocktail event.

Fabulous Bonzo's Deck is the perfect place to enjoy a drink or something to eat while sitting back and enjoying the magnificence of chill time.
